Reliable bikemaker “Hero MotoCorp” now came with their new Hero Super Splendor with innovative iSmart technology. The best part is, this new model accompanies a popular 125cc commuter with alluring highlights.It also proved that commuter segment is always on demand and profitable too for the bike maker. Attention to this, the Hero Motorcorp working to launch more new commuter bikes rather than premium motorcycles.
The new Hero Super Splendor is available in colors as : Black with Electric purple, Graphite Black, Black with Fiery Red, Candy Blazing Red.
As of pricing, the aged Splendor costs at a range of INR 56,215, whereas the new model costs INR 56,215 and goes up to 60,000 for the top spec variant.
The employment of 124.7 cc single-cylinder engine produces an improved power of 27% and torque of 6%.
The engine churns power of 11.4 PS at 7,500 RPM and the peak torque of 11 Nm at 6,000 RPM with a transmission of a four-speed.
Talking about the iSmart it is simple to understand that the bike ignition automatically gets switch off when the bike is in the idle state, and further, the engine gets back to life as soon as the biker applies the clutch of the bike. This system enables the fuel efficiency and improves the engine performance as well. We expect that this new model claims to provide an efficient fuel figure of about 80km/l.
This new Super Splendor stacks a telescopic fork in the front and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The 130 mm drum brakes restrict the power from both the ends. It also gets 18-inch alloys wheels but lacks tubeless tyres.
The Combi-brake System (CBS) is a latest and effective add-on to the bike. The 785 mm seat height makes the rider feel comfier.
The matte-black handlebar and center set footpegs is also an added advantage. It has a 124 kg kerb weight which was slightly heavier than rivals like Honda CB Shine and Bajaj Discover.
As of its design, the new Super Splendor boasts a new graphical body with enough paint options. The badge “Super Splendor” at the tank remains unchanged. The graphical 3d design gets stretched to the entire body length of the bike starting from the headlamp. The blue and silver themed stickering enhance the look for this outgoing model.
The comfort level of the bike is ample with longer and wider seating. It also features a semi-digital instrument console.
